Hi, we’re Tom and Linda
We started Lone Star Event Co. in 2011 at our kitchen table in South Austin, with one folding table and a lot of coffee. Thirteen years later we’re still family-owned, and we still pick up the phone ourselves.
Whether you’re hosting 20 people or 800, we treat your event like it’s ours. Come by, meet the team and tell us what you’re dreaming up.

Questions we hear a lot
Do you take walk-ins, or do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are always welcome during business hours, and we’ll pour you a coffee. But a planner may be on a site visit, so a quick call or a booking guarantees someone is free to sit down with you.
Consultations are free either way.
Where do I park when I visit?
There is free parking in the lot behind our building (enter from 12th Street), plus two-hour metered spots along Congress Avenue. Accessible spaces are right by the back door.
How much does an event cost?
Every event is quoted to fit your goals and budget. As a guide, corporate conferences start at $2,500, holiday parties at $1,800 and team-building events at $1,200.
Your quote is free, in writing, and has no surprise fees.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, ACH bank transfers and checks. A 25% deposit holds your date, and the balance is due seven days before the event.
Which areas do you serve?
We proudly serve Austin and all of Central Texas, including Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, San Marcos and Bastrop. Planning farther out? Call us, we travel for the right event.
Can you plan an event on short notice?
Often, yes. We have pulled together full conferences in two weeks. A rush fee may apply inside 30 days, so call us at (512) 555-0142 and we’ll tell you honestly what is possible.
